Comments:
I went to see Dr. Merkel on Friday and it looks like I do have a stress fracture of the posterior left tibia. so definitely no running for 6 weeks. That means Thursday, 10 December is the earliest I can run. If I am pain free before then I will cautiously start using the elliptical trainers at school. In the meantime it is climbing only for me.
Prevention: In the future you MUST do strength training of lower leg muscles, supplement Calcium and Vitamin and run on more dirt and less concrete.
