Puffers Pond and Pulpit Hill

August 18, 2018 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
More rain this afternoon and I got stuck in lb. Kinda started to loose it wanted to get outside and take a break. Noticed the rain was closer to the south than the north so decided I could try Puffers today. Starting out it was rainy and I quickly got wet. Still, it was nice and refreshing. Started out on the slow side, taking a while to get my legs moving after what they went through yesterday. It was fine once I got through the trails though. They were soaked so I had to go slow. I knew the bridge was under construction, but I didnt know that they took it out completely. My only option was to run around Pulpit Hill. Wasnt planning on it, but the miles were welcome. At that point I really was feeling solid and the sun came out. Held the good pace on the way back. Longer time and miles than usual and that is when I felt the best.

Essentials: Stretch, roll

I was so soaked when I got back from rain and humidity. I took my time to stretch out under the tree. When I got back did some rolling. Running today really help me reset after this week. I think I have the time now since things are simpler at the new house, so I want to take full advantage of that into the fall.
