Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Run on campus after prepping my slides all day. It wasnt necessarily productive, but it was good to get me mentally prepared. Left at 5 and started from the lot. Headed down to the track, they were doing some maintenance, so stayed away and instead did a tempo around the stadium loop. Its actually a solid spot to tempo. Got into a good groove, just set my watch to 15 mins and went. First loop I felt good, its about 1.6 miles (2.5k), did it in around 10 minutes. The next chunk was much tougher I could tell I was struggling, had to push to finish the last part strong. HR was up there but not around tempo since I slowed in the last few minutes. Walked it off then went back to the rec center to stretch.
Essentials: Stretch, roll
More crowded today. I was there in primetime. Got a spot and stretched out. Both my ankles feel tight today, everything else is pretty good though. IDK I tried to stretch them out a little more. Solid effort, I think I can work up to a 3 or 4 mile tempo that would be crazy cool.
