Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Easy run on the Nature Trail with Amos, Nico, and Scott. Tom gave a talk to the freshman before practice which everyone thought was super long, but for me, it honestly felt kinda short (thanks Anthony)! In all seriousness, it was a good conversation and I'm excited to race tomorrow. It'll be the longest race I've ever run (4 miles) which should be fun. It'll be interesting to compete against two of the best D1 programs in the region, Nova and Penn, but I won't worry about them during the race. My goal is to run at about the same pace that I ran at alumni. My calves are tight and I'm kinda sore overall, so I'll roll a lot tonight. 6 barefoot strides after and it was muddy, almost fell. Stupid me.
Also, I've stopped wearing a watch on runs. The guys all know how long each route is, and most of them recommended that we stop wearing GPS watches. It felt great not wearing it today for the first time. I may get a watch to time with though.
