Hayward/Hendricks + Pre Trails

Comments:
OK run today. I was feeling good about my knee today, after yesterday's good run. I hoped it would be better today, but after pushing it a bit too far, it actually got a bit worse. :|

Ran through campus and around Hendricks like I used to when I did hills. I ran to Hayward but decided against drills since it would loosen my knee tape. When I ran past the practice track, Ritz was there doing drills. I had to resist the temptation to go do drills, anyway, but that would've been lame -- although I seriously did drills there at that time all summer. I kept rolling.

Worked on firing up the VMOs, but that excessive knee extension messes with the hammies. They were sore by mid-run.

The knee started fine and was so-so for the 2nd half of the run. The pain migrated around: first superior/lateral, then medial/inferior. The last half mile I experimented with the tape off, thinking it might be simply pinching the kneecap tighter and making it worse. No change, really...except the pain migrated back to sup/lat. :|

Hurt at night afterwards more than it did last night. :|
