Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Got to run for the first time in 5 days! So wonderful as always. I just can't stop smiling on days where I get to run. Workout was 5*1 kilometer, but I thought that sounded like too much for my shins, so I did 3. Really good group: Lyra, Jenna, Natasha, Mia, Sophie L., Sophie A., EJ! First one I knew was too fast, but I was with a good group, so I didn't want to drop back. Felt good on it, but we only had a 200 meter cool down, so I was a bit tired on the next one and went slower. Then, took a break for one with Sophie A. to make sure my shins were good and so my third could be better quality which it was. Had so much fun jumping around cheering for everyone when I wasn't running. I love track workouts and this team infinitely much. Everyone works so hard at the track, and it's incredibly inspiring. Ran back with Jenna and Lauren which was lovely.
Shins do hurt a bit now, but in a general soreness type way, not a stress fracture-y type way which I think is ok. Will ice tonight and do game ready tomorrow.
