Cabin John Long Loop with Burns

October 20, 2018 (Night)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Ethan Burns was nice enough to meet at my house for a long run this evening after a long day at the Prep meet (where the Hoppers did very well!).

I made up a loop while playing around with Google Map Pedometer the other day and so we tried it out. It goes down MacArthur, on the Cabin John Trail (which was a lot of fun, but pretty hard to run on in some parts), up Seven Locks road for a bit, onto Bradley Blvd for about 4.5 miles and then onto Goldsboro, looping back up through the Wood Acres neighborhood and the firehouse home to finish. Once it got dark, around the Bradley turn, we still had enough shoulder to be safe, but the Goldsboro shoulder was a bit less nice to us.

Great conversation throughout the run, and really awesome to catch up with Ethan. Really grateful he came because this run would've sucked without him. Route wise, I would really recommend! A great way to finish off a relaxing week at home. Can't wait to be back with the goats.
