Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Workout on the CCT. It was 4 x 5:00 with 90 second recovery in between. It was going super well until the final pickup, when I slipped (didn't fall at least) on some ice and dropped my house key out of my hand and into the snow. I spent nearly half an hour looking for the key, with no luck. I even had help from an older gentleman and his cute dog Lou for about twenty minutes. Couldn't find it. So then I ran home, having done 3.5 pickups, and waited in the freezing cold for my dad to get home for 1.5 hours on my porch. So, PSA folks: if you see a light, goldish-looking key at the MacArthur entrance to the CCT at Sibley, right where the trail touches the CCT, please take it, it's mine! I did end up picking it up a bit on the way home once I had re-warmed up from the search, but I'm frustrated that I didn't get to finish the workout.
