Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
This was SUCH a strange race. I was seeded last in my heat, and we went out super duper slow. I was making a move up on lap three, but Tom told me to just tuck in, so I did. But after another lap of that, I needed to speed things up so I made a move for the front and passed everyone on the back straightaway of the fourth lap. I ran hard, and held that lead for the next three laps, getting passed by two teammates on their kick, Jeff and Nathan. I'm happy to go sub-five and set a new PR for the mile. That's kind of silly since I've only ever run the mile twice, but nonetheless it's a PR. I feel great about my fitness right now, and I feel like I'm in a good place going into the last few weeks of the season.
