Lauren left today, but i still have the rental car so I decided to stay in boulder after work and do a run. I was running along boulder creek by cu's track and to my surprise it was open. It had been closed to the public every other time I went by so I decided I had to take the chance to run on it. Was just going to run a few laps at an easy pace but there were so many people on the track that on my first lap I just got motivated to run fast. I was thinking of running with the buffaloes and all the great runners who have trained on that track. Ended up doing 2 miles in 10:54. Went out in 5:30 and came back in 5:24. My legs felt great! Did about 6 miles or so afterwards at a good pace.
