SKI! Willamette Pass "Waldo Start" up/down

We've been meaning to do this for a while and finally did it: uphill skiing at Willamette.

Got up at 530 and out the door by 630. Roads were more snowy than yesterday! Slow-going to Oakridge, then slightly better up to the mountain.

Slow, easy ski up the more mellow Waldo start, up and around to the very top! Wasn't too hard. There was about 4-6" of fresh powder on top of firm base, so it was nearly perfect.

About an hour of skiing up, and 20min of messing around, down.

Then drove home! :-P
