early SEHS, Campus run

February 14, 2019 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: mid 40s, rain

Comments:
Got up at 5:20 and took about 45 minutes to pack up. Drove to work and launched directly into a run.

Ankles were way better today. I didn't too a ton last night, either. This seems to be the pattern right now: they're super-sensitive to any "stiffening" (fast running, hard surfaces, vertical), but they feel way better once the lower leg "recovers" (usually 1.5 days). That's relatively good news. The key is keeping the shin muscles and tendons into the feet as loose as possible.

Ran the standard loop to campus, then to Fairmount, and back. Felt pretty good. Started slow, then picked up:

Rest of the day:
* two clients
* 90+ minutes of chelation treatment #2. Annoying
* to the airport to fly to Austin

Long weekend trip to Austin:

* mom and sis are meeting me there
* going to visit my half-uncle (mom's half-brother) Miles and his family
* going to see "my grandma"!

I feel like I could count on one hand the number of times I've spent time with my mom's mom (who divorced her dad when my mom was two), and the last time was a millenium ago. Should be interesting!
