PDX - Tualatin Park run with Tyler Green

February 22, 2019 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 30, crisp but nice

Comments:
Up EARLY for a run. Tyler Green is a PDX guy who won McKenzie in 2015, Waldo in 2015, and has come a couple places short, MANY times, for a WSER spot, finally got one at Bandera this year. We've been friends for a couple years, as his wife is a fast runner to (at CA's caliber). He contacted me to talk about WSER training, so we met for this run.

Ran mostly paved paths in this west suburb park area. Felt remarkably OK on this run, albeit clunky. Lots of good chats -- I haven't talked that much on a run in a while!

Rest of the day:
* back to the hotel and breakfast with Dan
* PNF CLASS! This was my first IPA class, back in 2010. It was a retake with two of my favorite instructors, including Vicki Johnson, co-founder of IPA, and Mike Baum, my PT
* Great class, and really fun to take it with Dan!
