February 27, 2019 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: high 30s - melting
Comments:
Woke up to another five inches of snow! Fucking hell! I shoveled again. This time it took only about 45 minutes to clear the whole thing (4" of fresh powder is way easier to clear than 13" of somewhat compacted snow).
Trees have been falling like crazy and one fell in our yard, but it was the perfect tree:
* about 6" max diameter
* fell in between CA's truck and the van
* was just short enough to graze the entry deck without damage
We had to cut it with our wedding-gift crosscut saw, which was fun!
After that, we ran.
Of note: I put kinesiotape around my pelvis after the workout yesterday and it's helped a TON. This means it's mostly SI joint instability causing my left hip pain.
Ran down the hill to 33rd, then to Amazon, a whole lap on the road, then up Donald and down Hilyard, then home. If the road has been plowed at least once, the road is runnable. So we ran on these main roads, and just dealt with dodging the occasional car.
Office is still without power and heat, so no work,once again.
Pretty tired but we got 8 miles in!
Rest of the day:
* brunch
* some work
* NAP. TIRED!
