Late practice and AU workout. I was in a pretty bad mood, but felt somewhat better as soon as I started running and some good news made me very happy! ;) Ran over mostly with Lyra. Warmed up, did 4 striders, and then did 6*400 with 200 meter recoveries with steamrollers (Jenna, Amanda, Leah, Evan). I was feeling a little dizzy/shaky again beforehand, but I figured I'd try the first and see how I felt, and I just kept feeling better at each one, and my times showed that which is really exciting! I was alone for most of the pickups (usually between Evan and Jenna) which was a little sad, but I felt really strong and focused despite it, and it didn't bother me too much. During recoveries, Jenna and I sang LMS Passover songs which was a lot of fun (though didn't help me regain my breath before the next pickup—worth it though!) Everyone looked super strong and like they were working hard. I love track workouts so much. It makes me so happy how we high five each other during recovery jogs or pant a "good job" as we pass each other during a pickup. I love this team. Ran back with Lauren which was lovely as always. :)
