November 26, 2009 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
9:00 A.M. start time, got there at about 10 of 8:00. Jogged for about 11 minutes, then headed to the starting line. At road races, you can tell who is going to be in the lead. This time was no different. I went out in 1st with Jeremy 2nd. We were soon passed by three men in their 20s( one of whom we later talked to and found out was a coach at Shawnee College in Ohio). Hit the mile in about 4:53. The first mile was pretty quick, with a .25 mile downhill. Started to break away a little and was kind of in no man's land. Came by the 2nd mile in around 10:53. I expected it to be a lot faster, but I'm still tired from the workouts this week. I believe I finished in 17:06(4th overall; 1st age group). Cool down for 21 minutes with Mr. Chris Cucuzzella(the Loyola Cross Country Coach). I did 3.25 later when I got home.
Happy Thanksgiving!
