June 4, 2019 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: early; high 50s, nice
Comments:
Tempo run on the bark with CA. Warmed up 1.5 miles, did drills/strides, then got after it: two big laps clockwise, 3:00 jog, then repeat.
She led pretty much the whole thing. First mile was solid, though we slowed in the second half. Second mild was strong.
6:28?, 6:22
It felt strong, but "not easy". I'm clearly still getting used to running any speed, AND I'm still stiff from Sunday.
There was a thought that I'd go faster, but it was unnecessary, since CA did! She did a perfect job of tightening the screws:
6:13, 6:06!
Super-impressive by her. And decently impressive for me! (Two weeks ago I was "repping" 800s on the bark slower than this!)
1.5 cool-down. Great workout.
Post-run:
* weights
* quick shower and eat
* coaching meeting with a new client (with both CA and me). Fun!
