Mile simulation workout

November 30, 2009 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Ran on the indoor track today which killed my left foot. Other than that though this workout was great. I've had a headache all day that kept me up last night so I thought this workout would really be a struggle for me. I popped some ibprofin before the warmup and that definitly helped in getting rid of the headache to the point that after the workout I felt better overall than I did at the start. Which is nice. Anyways today was 10x400 with 1:30 to 2min rest. Pace 65-67 for all of them. After the first one I felt really tight and I thought that holding pace would really be a tall order but as the workout wore on it ended up being great. The first one was actually the slowest. Kurt booked about the 6th one and I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to stay with him but we ended up running together for the rest which was nice. I'll ice and fix up my foot tomorrow which will be good. My legs are tired tonight but otherwise I'm right as reign and execited to see what I can do Saturday.
