July 1, 2019 (Night)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 60, almost chilly
Comments:
Long day. Slept pretty good, but got up at 5:30 to do coaching -- no run. Then had six consecutive patients (including two new ones), then more coaching.
Went home, ate no food, then went for a run before yoga.
It's interesting: I haven't been doing much intermittent fasting in the past month (of running 60mpw and biking about another 40-60). Today I fasted about 21 hours straight.
While I wasn't "hungz" on the run, my energy low - and crappy mood - was likely due to lack of eating. Felt pretty flat on the run.
CA, on the other hand, felt fantastic, for some reason. She's really responded to the "Salazar" (/Walmsley) Stride cue, and I think it's feeling good for her. She was pace-pushing the whole second half, which got us <7:30 on the soft and rolling bark.
Felt OK. Not horrible. Quads were fine. Ankles and feet were stiff though, but no burning pain.
Yoga was "OK". I haven't done a class with that much running beforehand in a while.
Post-class: coaching meeting with Brent. He's signing on for another quarter, which is good.
