Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 60, humid
Comments:
Slept in again ('til 645), then did extensive mobility - including left hip distraction stretching - before we launched for our run. Parked at InShape, then did the bark, to campus.
There was NO way I was ready for a normal workout, so we did short sprints. On the UO campus they have this <400m square-ish track. The curves are maybe 20m long and the straights maybe 75-80? So we did 6 laps of sprinting the lead curve + staight, then jogging the following...then sprint, etc.
Felt remarkably good. Big form focus, including:
* butt back, vag up!
* pawback, including reaching longer with my right leg
* strong feet
* hinge
Felt strong.
But after that, the mileage was a slog. Long cool-down up into Hendricks Park (via PRE's rock) and down.
After that, a reluctant but good lift.
