Comments:
Drove back down to LI today. It took a long time, smooth sailing to downstate but there was traffic at TNB that backed up a while. My ankles were so sore from touch and go when I finally got in. Doesnt help it was sweltering hot out. I rested up a little then made it to lab for the game. Got there a little late, didnt warm up. Showed, also the rain delays. Not as confident and active int he outfield. I dropped one that I had in the glove and misread several more. Hitting was good got a few in and a few runs. One was so solid off the barrel I just launched it and knew it was good as it came off. I didnt even need to run that hard around the bases for my first HR of the season, and first in a long time. Glad I watched the derby last night for some inspiration. The whole game was close. One of the innings we went 1-2-3 and that was the difference maker, they beat us by 3 runs. Still fun to be out there especially with the rain. Felt pretty loose and agile running around it was the perfect thing after a long car ride.
