Slept in. Felt seemingly OK, but when I got out to run, I felt SUPER-sluggish and almost hungover. Then I remembered I ate potica (laden with butter) last night. Shit.
The idea was to do a 14-mile grind (easy out, grind return), but after a couple miles, it was clear that just doing easy miles would be hard enough. Ran into Springfield through PRE trails, then came back. My watch was half-erroring - half - because it claims I didn't run faster than 9:00 miles. I did...but not by much.
Started doing strides at mile 5 or so. This helped wake me up.
Rest of the day: felt like CRAP! Had a rough (but OK) study session with Emily, then came home. Skipped Brent's bday fest.
Damn dairy!
