July 26, 2019 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: mid 70s already
Comments:
Saw a 7AM client today. Not ideal. I woke up a little "wirey", but not in a terrible place. The nap (which invariably hindered my ability to fall asleep) yesterday helped cushion the blow.
Good session, then did a bit more work before going for a short run.
It's Waldo Trail Work Weekend. The idea was to do a LONG run up there, as I did in 2014. But after last night (and yesterday, in general)? I thought that'd be a bad idea. In fact, I wasn't even sure if I'd drive up tonight.
So I ran in the AM, just to test out the system.
Remarkably, I felt pretty great. Energy was "weird", but the legs felt great! Did the usual, through the bark loop, past Tugman and back via Amazon. Did pull-ups each direction.
Despite feeling good, I then came home, studied some, ate...and napped, again! Didn't get up 'til 3:30 or so.
Rest of the day:
* packed up the van and drove up the pass
* got there at 6, which was just enough time for a Maiden Up-Down!
