August 5, 2019 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 50s, perfect
Comments:
Slept pretty good last night; thankfully our little basement airbnb stayed cool and got cooler overnight.
Got up at 6:15 and out the door at 6:45 to easy run. Steamboat isn't too high, but it's a solid 6500', so we felt it on the light uphill from our neighborhood, as we headed north out of town toward the Strawberry Hot Springs.
Felt pretty decent this morning: not too stiff.
Had a decent uphill, then a nice plateau as we headed out of town, into a big meadow area. Super-nice morning.
Ran out 2 miles, then turned back. CA did longer run intervals, while I kept running (turning back, occasionally).
Felt pretty good, overall.
DAY ONE
* tough but good day. The PNF and CFS review was tough. I did OK, but I had a lot of techniques I needed to clean up. Went from 7:30-nearly 7?
