Milan River Run

Comments:
This was not a good run at all. I was hoping I could relax and run easily under 7:00 pace. I started out just under and sort of blew up. I was more out of breath than I had hoped, felt dead, and had stomach cramps. With about a mile and a half to go, I decided to put all of that aside and try to finish it as well as I could, because I am sick and tired of giving up. After that point, the run changed like night and day. I soon found myself increasing the pace, feeling better, and eventually running at a near sprint to the finish. However, the last two miles does not make a bad run into a good one and I have some serious work to do in order to be ready for cross-country season.
