Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Went down to the beach to run with Gui in the evening. Lots of people out on a nice night and sunset. There was music at the bar, lots of uncoordinated, overweight white people smoking, dancing and drinking lite beer. It was a sight to see. More reason for us to run as far down the beach as we could. Made it pretty far down, sand was a struggle so we kept close to the water. Shoes got wet a few times. Could feel some blisters coming up. On the way back, started to get some cramps and I had to hold it together. Could feel the pace and my form break down, but I havnt had much sand running in a while. Good back to back mileage this weekend. It was pleasant to spend some time down on the beach today as well. I was following the Hurricane all day, so it was a little surreal to be down there...
Essentials: Stretch
Quick stretch in the lot, then I made it back to the beach to get a little bit of the water and sand in. Blisters forming, but those never really bother me much. More so likely going to be sore from the sand and uptick in mileage.
