The cookie run was today. I have been waiting for this moment for years. I remember my first cookie run like it was yesterday: how the seniors led drills so forcefully and how I truly found the meaning of this sport on that day.
I can't even remember the route and I didn't bother to get mileage as that is not the purpose of the workout. The purpose is to push yourself beyond your limits, in which I, and everyone else on the team, succeeded. I am also proud to mention that I managed to keep myself from throwing up this time. I am known for a weak stomach and such intensity exacerbates the problem. Luckily, this time, I didn't toss my cookies.
