PNW Trip: Deception Pass easy run

September 30, 2019 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: cool, sunny, amazing

Comments:
Slept pretty well 'tli 7ish, then got moving. I was intent on feeling OK, so I did a bunch of light jogging while CA got ready.

Had a decent run, but still felt tired. Ran out to a couple cool vista points, then ran across the bridge to Whidbey Island.

Good run -- some nice runnable spots, but some rough, Superior-like ruggedness. This was a scout run for "Deception Pass 50K", which my coaching client Michelle is doing in December. TONS of out-and-backs on that course, though, which will be annoying.

Post-run:
* made breakfast at the campground
* cleaned up
* left at 10:30 or 11, thinking we had plenty of time to get home for yoga at 5:30...but, due to traffic, our estimated arrival time ranged from 5:35-6! CA drove while I did coaching work, and battled nasty traffic, but we made it to Mudra at 5:34, and barely missed anything.

GOOD class. Felt like I got my nerve tension released a bit. CRAZY how that changed my mood after!

Good end to a pretty good (but ups-and-downs) trip.
