InShape Treadmill

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Slept in, mostly, but couldn't fall back asleep, so I got up and read. Read, did some other stuff and cursory coaching work, then reluctantly went to InShape, while CA left for her ten-mile grind run.

Felt OFF today. In restrospect, it was histamine-driven. The wood smoke is high, since the goddamn timber companies have now started burning brush piles, en force. But it took all day to realize.

Energy was pretty low, but still had a decent treadmill run.

Working really hard to:
1. Anti-Roger: avoid the toe-out (then adducted) push off on the right (which is the key to #2)
2. Stride width + whole foot

Still feels like a lot of resistance in the trunk and L shoulder blade.

Post-run I did a lot of ankle stretching. This stride adjustment has tremendously improved my ankle mobility, which is pretty conclusive feedback that I'm doing the right thing. We'll see how long that lag time is between efficiency + ROM restoration --> pain relief?

Post-run: super-tired and grumpy...and a HORRIFIC Bears "performance" vs the Saints didn't help. I really like Mitch Trubisky as a person, but...he just doesn't have it. He can't make the reads -- he's missing so much! He's so bad that opposing defenses just put "11 in the box" on the run.

Met Clifton for a happy hour beer at Sam Bonds (before which I realized I should take an allegra, which really helped). Good to see him; our first solo hang out in nearly a year!
