Winema NF/Collier SP - Williamson River Trail

October 24, 2019 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 28F! crisp!

Comments:
Drove to just south of Crater Lake last night and camped. Slept nearly 10 hours in chilly but pretty much perfect conditions.

Up and out running by around 8:30. There was a trail connecting our CG to Collier SP, via the Williamson River, a little high desert river.

Solid trail: mostly flat, and decent footing. The pumice was actually frosted and stiff, which was nice!

This was my first trail run since making the big changes. I had to work hard (and got multiple reminders to re-up on "anti-Roger" from CA), but I did a pretty good job.

Ankles were a little stiff in the first mile, then fine. Hips and back, in general, were stiff: both from a lack of activity yesterday and the weight soreness.

Brunch in K-Falls: good OML's and solid sandwiches.

Heading to Reno.
