October 28, 2019 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 50, cold/crisp and sunny
Comments:
Great day. Got all my coaching done in the AM, and had six patients from 7-1. CA came by after work and we ran together.
I was feeling saucy so I decided to hop into her Hendricks Hill workout: 6x 300m paved hill with a pretty fast (400m?) gravel descent. We did this about a month ago (which led to a left adductor tweak when I was still stiff-as-shit).
Felt pretty good today! Kept the breathing controlled and REALLY worked on:
1. Anti-Roger (straight push-back) on the right leg, on uphills
2. whole foot/wide foot landing
Felt good 'til the last rep, then the left ankle/heel got sore.
Good run, over 8 miles!
Rest of the day:
* quick breakfast
* teeth cleaning! MY first in YEARS (actually went well)
* PM yoga: good class but a SLOW flow ("Lindsay's Molassas Flow"!)
