Exercise Type: Bike
Weather: high 40s, fine (overcast/crap air)
Comments:
Hauled ass to get this ride done before a teeth cleaning.
Partly due to time constraints - the other in order to get in a harder workout - I did a fartlek:
* the usual (if not a big harder) uphill beginning
* the usual flat-down to Lorane/Bailey
* once on Spencer Creek: 6x 1:00 hard, 1:00 normal
* about a 3min extra break on the downhill on Pine Grove
* 6x 1:00 hard, 1:00 normal on Gimpl, including the 5th as the tough climb (and about 2:00)
* normal to 18th
* then about 5x 1:00 hard, 1:00 normal to Storey Hill
* hard (as usual) up the steep Storey Hill
Good ride...but "only" 1:13 (of note: the fastest I've done is 68! That was back in the spring)
No other exercise during the day. Rest of the day:
* Dentist
* home to eat
* worked 12-5
* home
No hunt, no social. Worked on my shins. Depressing, but on the right track, I suppose.
