Wallowa Lake - lake & back loop with CA

December 1, 2019 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: chilly but quickly warming (teens-20s)

Comments:
Up before 7 and spent about a half hour packing up before heading out to run. Ran one more loop from the house. Felt pretty OK again, which is promising.

The best part about the taping is - for the first time in YEARS (/the last time I taped, I guess) - not only are runs OK, but I'm not super-stiff afterward! I can run, then - an hour later, if I'm sitting - I can get up and walk without being CRAZY-stiff. This is evidence of the stability deficit in the high-ankle, for sure.

After the run, we cleaned up and finished packing and hit the road by 8:30, and got MMLs and left Joseph before 9.

I drove the entire way home. The idea was for CA to drive, but the roads were snowy and (intermittently) shitty all the way to Hood River, and then the traffic was variably heavy: not great conditions for a new stick driver.

CA helped with coaching on our way home.

Once at home, we unpacked, then hit the gym.

Successful trip!

Could be the last one, as the Harrisons are likely moving next year, after Courtney graduates.
