Comments:
Went to AU via 46th & University but then found the gate was locked and unscalable so I jogged up to the front entrance to arrive at the track. Did moving dynamics and leg swings before I put on spikes and did striders before starting the workout I had devised: a ladder including 400m, 800m, 1600m, 800m, 400m, and then an all out 200m at the end. Goals were 75 for the 4, 2:40 for the 8, and 5:40 for the 16. 2 was just max effort, no end goal. Ran a 75 for the first 4, then jogged a lap before the 8, which was abysmally of pace, then did a lap cool down, then did the 16, which proved to be hardest in the 2nd lap, which I used to correct my being off-pace in the first lap. Ran exactly 5:40 in the end before another off-pace 8 and a 75 for the 4 again. The 2 was a bit slow, but I guess I was just winded. I threw in 2 100m sprints, one still start and one moving start. Then I did Planks, Plank Leg Lifts, Clams, heel-toe walks, and jogged home. Will probably hit the track next week sometime. We'll see, I might do hills instead.
