Another packed day: SEVEN patients in a row (7-2). Callie did the bulk of the trip prep, which also included getting snow tires installed on the van.

After 2, I quickly went to the gym to get in a pretty solid lift:

* splits squats
* bent flys
* abs
* prone extension + hip IR
* bridges / clamshells

After that, hit the bank, got home and packed up.

We really wanted to drive to Mt Hood to night ski a few hours, then launch toward the coast via PDX. We nearly bailed on the idea, since we didn't leave the house 'til after 4, but we persisted. SO glad we did.

Didn't get to Hood Meadows and geared up 'til nearly 7:30 and it closed at 9. But it was a BLAST.

Man, that's a real and tough mountain! Snow conditions weren't great (a few inches of intermittent powder atop an icy crust), but it was a total blast. Such cool contours -- like every run was a bowl and had all sorts of undulations, making the whole run unique.

Did just enough skiing to be worth it, AND not get too fatigued (or hurt!).

After that: drove down (in some snow) to Government Camp, got pizza/beer, then van-camped in town (which is 100% legal).

Fun day! So glad we got there!
