Mt Hood - Hood Meadows uphill & down ski

Weather: high 20s, overcast (REALLY windy at the plateau)

Comments:
Slept in 'til 7:30, then hustled to check out and get to the mountain relatively early.

The plan was to uphill skin to nearly the top of Hood Meadows and ski down, but it wasn't quite meant to be:

* first, there wasn't a dedicated trail. We had to ski on the far boundary (or outside), which was tedious
* second, once we got to above the tree line, the conditions turned to shit: cold, overcast and REALLY windy

So we only skied maybe 1.5 miles up, then skied down: the first of which was on a closed area (so snow was inconsistent), then on a green circle run.

Pretyy fun, but not that amazing.

Post-ski:
* back to "Govey" for coffee and sandwiches
* drove home (Bridget went with MFB)

Pretty tired on the way home...but I think it was from the damn chocolate-PB "birthday pie" we had with coffee, at lunch! :-/
