Nothing, but "shoulder blades" / Strength!

March 14, 2020 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Weights

Comments:
Weird, depressing day. Didn't do a whole lot. CA went on a 15-mile trail long run in town, while I stayed at home and "cleaned" (disassembled our shitty vacuum cleaner and did some other stuff).

Ankle still wasn't feeling great.

It's tough at this time to be injured. This is THE time to be able to get out and exercise.

BUT a ray of hope:

I agreed to work on CA today. She's still slopping left with her trunk. SO AM I. It's age-old. And I don't know what to do about it. I filmed her and - sure enough - even fresh, still "slopping" (both side, but L > R).

So I was working on other "random" things she needs help with - namely her shoulder blade.

Then IT HIT ME. That's the issue!

The SHOULDER BLADE is the counter balance and connector between trunk and pelvis (legs). Both CA and have terrible shoulder-blade efficiency and shoulder-blade-driven running.

So, we worked on shoulder blade mechanics.

And: she looked WAY better.

Super-promising! And it ties in 100% with what Jeff foudn in our PT session yesterday AM.

PM:
* made another fire and had Tommy and Carrie come over. With umbrellas we toughed out a BIG hailstorm! :-p
