April 14, 2020 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 40s, crisp but sunny
Comments:
CA wanted to do Baldies as her re-introduction to harder running. I (somewhat foolishly) agreed to join.
I drove to Fox Hollow to cut my run short. We jogged the mile on Rexius (which is now, officially, amazing), then to Baldy.
We hiked nearly the entire way. Felt remarkably good! The downhills were very conservative: trying really hard to use my hips (and arms) and stay light on my feet.
Remarkably, it wasn't bad during...or after! Wearing the black (CEP) compression sock is officially CLUTCH. Today was the first day I wore it, and it's a game-changer. I THOUGHT I needed more than just lower ankle (or, somehow more comprehensive compression). This really helped. It's going to be the new strategy.
Rest of the day:
* can't remember: PM clients (1-2)
* "hosted" the Barkely (solo) hunt! Pretty fun for everyone.
