Comments:
We got the weather back today. It wasnt too hot, just fantastic sun and breeze. Took advantage and got in my long run. Developed a blister from new flip flops so I thought that would effect me, but it turned out to be fine with a band aid. Went up to Rec way to be safe if I had to turn around. Going out, took it conservative. Made it all the way to Burns in 30 min to turn around and knew I was feeling pretty good. Picked up the pace on the way back. There were lots of IC kids out partying, bold move. I just kept my pace and took the downhill with me.
Essentials: Stretch
Good stretch when I got back. Legs felt great today, like they were just rollin in the zone on the way back. Feel even better after the fast pace. Longest I have run in a while, felt great. On a nice day, Burns is manageable. Not too boring and a nice amount of shade.
