Comments:
We are back in Allegheny. Got up and went for a hike around the camp ground good stuff. Forest was beautiful and the trail was tough at times. We almost got to the water. Not sure how long we were out but we turned around at the right time. Got back to camp site right for lunch and had enough time for a fire before a huge rain came through. Didnt last that long. We packed up and headed down to the dam, looking to get over to Warren and Youngsville if possible. Unfortunately, there was some construction near the dam on the bridge and traffic was backed up. We probably could have made it over, but decided to loop back around and we found the lookout that Barnes always took us to, Rimrock. As we pulled up, it felt so familiar, but different. We havent been there in 8 years... Wow. I knew exactly where we were, but it was a different place now to me. I think that makes camp that much more special. We decided not to bushwhack the rocks down to the reservoir. I had no idea that there was an actual path down to the beach, Barnes always took us down the woods haha. We walked all the way down and back up, coming up it was getting hot but it was nice to be in there. We had to make another stop in town so we did a big loop through Bradford before looping back to camp to settle in for the night. Stars came out. What a fire we had rolling. On some level, thats what its all about... Ckells said we logged 13 miles walking today. I can tell bottom of my feet are all sore and beat up. Good to see Kinzua is still there and doin its thang, and we can still enjoy it.
