September 7, 2020 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Up early then drove from Yachats, 15 miles south, to the China Creek trail (Washburne SP), just north of Heceta Head.
We thought CA'a calf would be OK, but she made it maybe a kilometer before turning back. Frustrating. So I went solo.
Ran north to and through the (closed) CG, which winds around, crosses (under) 101, then rolls over to the beach.
It was a BRISK morning in the trees (50s), but once on the beach and sun exposed, I was hot in my hat, LS and jacket!
Felt OK, but tired. Sore glutes and calves still sore. But ankle was minimally an issue. Amazing.
Ran maybe 3.5 miles. No watch.
Rest of the day:
* home to do coaching
* lifted
* weed whipped yard
* treated 1x client
* yoga
By 7:30, out of nowhere an absolute hellish biblical smoke/dust cloud rolled in. We got a crazy cellphone warning about this wind storm. Bad news! Gonna be SHIT air!
