2 miles up, 6.5 mile progression run, 2 miles down. 5 loops around the middle school near my house. each loop was 1.3 miles. i ended up going 9:20, 8:52, 8:28, 7:52, 7:23. so approximate paces for that were 7:10, 6:50, 6:30, 6:05, 5:40. not particularly difficult, it was on a grass loop with a few hills, and i was feeling it towards the end, but since i'm doing 75 miles this week i don't really think that a harder workout or harder tempo would be beneficial, just trying to build a base rightnow. next week i'll try something harder once i've got two 70+ mile weeks in.
