Dorris Ranch / Clearwater path with MJT

October 10, 2020 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: misty but nice (before the pour)

Comments:
Up early to run with old roommate Matt Thornton.

Drove to his house in SPFD to run, departing just after 7:30.

STIFF this morning...and most of the run. Left ankle stayed pretty stiff...as did the rest of me...the whole run. Discouraging. Annoying.

Could be from assembling that king bed frame last night (a lot of stooping). Interesting associations.

Ran straight 8:0xs with Matt. I talked to him a lot about nerve tension. I think he deals with it too: he's got a leg length difference AND shitty posture! Bad 1-2 punch.

Managed 9 miles, but nary a one felt particularly good. Frustrating. "Old Man Run".

Rest of the day:
* to work quick
* grocery shopping
* home, making a slow brunch (CA ran long at Pisgah with Alexis)

After brunch:

Did a TON of nerve and spine mobility, namely:

* trunk (extension rotation) with some upper body
* hamstring (+ ball mob)
* lumbar AP mobs

Just trying to get shit moving!
