miserable tempo

Comments:
this was a terrible workout. i did the tempo on the treadmill, because i feel like i can't run the pace i need to outside by myself. the plan was to start at 6 min pace and get a little faster each mile, having the 4th mile be a little faster than 5:50. i felt fine after the first mile at 6, went to increase the pace and discovered that the treadmill didnt go any faster. that annoyed me and i started to feel terrible really fast--which is when i just said screw this and made it a 3 mile tempo. i had to talk myself out of stopping at 2 miles and then again with 600m to go. i dont know what was wrong.
