Amazing. Wonderful. Fantastic. I've made it to my third run. I am very pleased to have made it this far.
I ran 10 minutes to the top of the Williamsburg bridge then 5 minutes further and then 15 minutes back. I think it's very fun how exact my runs are. Maybe it means I have a good pace set.
I've been a little afraid of running down the bridge but Friday there was this very athletic tall woman running down in front of me and she was doing a very good job of keeping her strides super tight and quick. I could also just tell she was squeezing her core tight. So running down hills from now on I will try to embody her and catch myself if I'm opening my strides too much.
I want to do this right. I don't want to get a real injury because I'm being dumb.
I read through some of the GDS Forums yesterday and the posts made me so happy. Excited to be back on Running-log...for now. :)
