4th Run

November 16, 2020 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
My dad told me when I was learning to drive to never drive emotional. Weird thing to say, but maybe it goes the same a bit for running.
My body was very tense going into it and did not ease up with the relaxation of moving the body, but it didn't get more tense and definitely made me feel better after. I had just got off the phone, a virtual doctor's visit, with Dr. Rashbaum, a leading doctor in mind-body disorders and pain rehabilitation. I felt very lucky to get to talk to him. But facing pain head on with just knowledge seems a little intense to me. We'll see.
I also didn't mean to run at such a quick pace. I mean I know it's not quick, but I don't want to rush into running at all. I really want to take it slow so maybe no emotional running for me for awhile.
Gorgeous out and back on Williamsburg Bridge. Pink skies and pink bridges: every girl's dream :) On the way back I saw a man running up the bridge with a kid on his shoulders. The body is so resilient and capable.
