December 28, 2020 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 40, dry
Comments:
Felt OK. Pretty heavy, but not terrible.
Busy day!
Felt SLUGGISH in the AM after the third pill of my new "Flagyl" trial.
The Experiment:
* back when I had giardia in 2017, AFTER I took the med (gut antibiotic), I felt AMAZING: best running in like 4 years. I regressed (then gut flared back to giardia-like)...then took it again in August, and felt really good in the fall (until I regressed again in November, right at RdL).
We have 15 leftover flagyl pills. I'm taking only a 3-pill/24 hour round to see the effect. The hypothesis: I can get positive gut benefit - killing off bad "bugs" - and also not bomb the "good" aspects of my gut, and thus help many aspects of life:
* digestion
* sleeping/energy
* RUNNING
Felt hungover from it, but I remember that effect from before...
