Comments:
Got out with the boys at 10, jogged 1.5, ditched jackets, and got started after some striders. Workout was 6 mile progression tempo, starting at 7-7:05, finishing at 5:45-5:50. Went left on the trail, around the library and back 2 miles. Was fast on every single mile except 4. Splits were 6:51, 6:43, 6:22, 6:19, 5:55, 5:30. Last 2 miles were rough, especially last half mile or so, finishing into the wind at a decently fast pace (~4:44/mi for the fantom lap 7). Jogged 3.5 back and stretched. Strength this morning was Heel-toe walks, squats, calf raises, and Superpeople.
