Vancouver got some snow! It was messy in the morning, and I went in for my lab day today because its "Family Day" on Monday. The streets started getting cleared up at the end of the day but still a good pack around. Surprised how much fell, this is the Canada I expected! My instincts took over and I managed the slush quite well. Went down Highbury first. The Seaside bike route was packed down pretty good also as there were lots of people out. I kinda forgot it was a weekend for that bit. Coming back up Trimble was tough, its way easier to go down but I dug deep to get up. Didnt feel that fast today but I was sliding all over and needed the extra energy for stability.
Essentials: Stretch
Good stretch when I got back, but I need to do more since I will be sore from the slush. I was burnt out when I got home after lab but I am glad I dragged myself out and hit the streets. Makes me miss the snow actually, brought back some serious Cleveland Heights vibes.
