Ohhh this is the weather we have been waiting for! It was a perfect, sunny spring day. A little chilly for Vancouver folks but just fine for me. I was on campus around lunch time then biked back to run. Ran down to the shore and along Pt. Grey Rd then came back on Balaclava. It was crowded down there, had to weave around bikes and walkers. Density was not all that high, but I hope people were still being careful. Vaccines and changing weather are changing peoples attitudes, but we still need restrictions to change peoples behavior until we are all vaccinated. Looks like we have plateaued, but at a higher level than in the beginning of the pandemic. Thats crazy. Anyways, I felt ok today, got it in. Legs still kinda sore and calves were tight but the pace was consistent and strong. And it just felt so nice out there in the sun (when I could catch it). I did have to pee really bad so I might have taken it a little shorter to get back in time.
Essentials: Stretch, roll
Good stretch when I got back and had time to roll. Feel loosening up a little bit but still sore. Maybe biking got me warmed up for today, even though I mostly felt like I was just coasting along in the breeze.
